Content License

Effective Date: March 15, 2026

This Content License explains how content on Knowledge.Dev may be used. It applies together with our Terms of Service.

Knowledge.Dev includes three broad categories of material:

  • Editorial content created by RillRate DOO
  • User-generated or community-contributed content
  • PRO-only tools, previews, and experimental materials

1. Editorial Content

Unless a page says otherwise, text, lesson structure, design assets, documentation, branding, and other editorial materials published by Knowledge.Dev are owned by RillRate DOO or its licensors.

Subject to the Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Read and use the content for personal, non-commercial learning
  • Download or print materials when a download option is provided
  • Share links to the original pages
  • Quote short excerpts with attribution

You may not:

  • Republish full lessons or substantial portions of them
  • Repackage the material into another educational product
  • Sell access to mirrored or copied versions
  • Remove attribution or notices
  • Use protected content to train commercial AI systems without permission

2. Community and UGC Content

Contributors retain ownership of the content they create and publish on Knowledge.Dev, except to the extent they license it otherwise.

When UGC is published on the platform:

  • The contributor keeps ownership
  • The contributor grants Knowledge.Dev the platform license described in the Terms
  • Other users may access that content through the Service for personal, non-commercial educational use

If a contributor attaches a separate license to a specific item, that separate license controls for that item.

If no separate license is stated, you should assume the content is available only for use inside the Service and for ordinary learning, reference, and discussion.

3. Code Examples

Code examples on Knowledge.Dev may come from:

  • RillRate DOO
  • Community authors
  • Third parties used under their own licenses

Unless a more specific license is provided for a code sample or repository, you may:

  • Read, run, and modify the code for learning
  • Reuse ideas, patterns, and techniques in your own projects
  • Build your own implementation based on what you learned

You may not:

  • Republish complete lessons or example collections as your own course
  • Misrepresent sample code as an official production-ready library
  • Remove attribution where attribution is provided

You are responsible for testing, auditing, and adapting any code before production use.

4. PRO Materials and Experimental Access

PRO subscriptions may include access to:

  • Experimental tools such as the CLI player and related workflow features
  • Development notes, previews, prototypes, and build logs
  • Other PRO materials described on the pricing or product pages

These materials are licensed only for your personal, non-commercial use during the period you are authorized to access them. You may not record, redistribute, resell, or repost PRO-only materials except with our written permission.

Because these materials are experimental, they may change, disappear, or be replaced at any time.

5. Contributor Responsibility

If you upload UGC, you are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to share it. We may remove content that appears to violate law, policy, or third-party rights.

If you believe content on Knowledge.Dev infringes your copyright, contact legal@knowledge.dev with:

  1. Your contact information
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material
  4. A statement of your good-faith belief
  5. A statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act

6. Third-Party Materials

Some parts of the Service may include third-party software, libraries, fonts, media, or linked resources. Those components remain subject to their own licenses and terms.

7. Disclaimer

All content is provided for educational and informational purposes. This includes editorial content, UGC, tool outputs, and experimental materials.

We do not guarantee that content is accurate, complete, secure, or suitable for production use. You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on.

8. Changes

We may update this Content License from time to time. Updated versions become effective when posted unless stated otherwise.

9. Contact

Questions about permissions or licensing can be sent to legal@knowledge.dev or through our Contact page.

Summary: Learning content on Knowledge.Dev is free by default. Contributors keep ownership of their UGC, while granting the platform permission to host and publish it. PRO subscriptions may include temporary access to experimental tools and materials, which are personal-use only and may change at any time.
